About Lotus Ascent Counseling
At Lotus Ascent Counseling, Where Healing Begins, we believe healing starts in a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood.
We work with children, teens, and adults who are navigating big emotions, behavior challenges, anxiety, and life transitions. Our approach is warm, relational, and individualized—because no two people are the same.
Lotus Ascent Counseling uses an integrative, trauma-informed approach, meaning treatment is tailored to each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model.
For children, services focus on developmentally appropriate, play-based therapy, where play becomes the language children use to express emotions, process experiences, and build regulation skills.
For teens and adults, counseling provides a collaborative space to:
Understand patterns and emotional responses
Build coping and regulation skills
Navigate anxiety, stress, and life transitions
Develop insight and confidence
What Makes This Different
Not all therapy is the same.
At Lotus Ascent Counseling, the focus is not just on managing behavior — but on understanding what’s underneath it.
Many children and adults struggle not because they lack skills, but because they have difficulty accessing those skills in moments of stress or overwhelm.
This approach focuses on:
Supporting emotional regulation
Creating safety and connection
Building skills that can be used in real life
